
Biography – Patsy Gamble, Saxophonist.
This covers the main recording and gigging events so far.
1990 Started playing regular local gigs with various soul, reggae cover bands and formed
brass section The Little Big Horns.
1991 Joined blues outfit 90 PROOF and played gigs all over UK.
1994 Played at Charity Concert with Steve Winwood and Ruby Turner
1995 Recorded library music Classic Rock and Blues with Dave Anderson for Chappell.
1996 Recorded Library Music Rockscapes 2 with Ian Anderson for Bruton Music.
1996 Played The Great British Blues Festival, Colne & Ashton Court Festival, Bristol
with Eddie Martin, Gloucester Festival with Shish Gecko and The Stroud Fringe
Festival and North Bucks Blues & Folk Festival supporting Peter Green.
1997 Recorded Life On The Plains – K-Passa

1998 Arranged brass & recorded– Strange Brew – Keith Thompson & Strange Brew.

Played Burnley National Blues Festival with Eddie Martin.

1999 Played at Disneyland, Paris.
Played Blues Festivals in Belgium with Eddie Martin supporting John Mayall and The
Bluesbreakers.
2000 Arranged brass & recorded – 21st Century Boogie – Paddy Milner
2000 Recorded Man Without A Home – Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges.
Played various functions featuring Phil Cool and Jasper Carrott.
2001 Arranged brass & recorded Out Of The Smoke – Keith Thompson & Strange Brew

2002 Recorded Pillowcase Blues – Eddie Martin & The Texas Blues Kings
2002 Arranged brass & recorded See The Morning In – Grand Drive
Played Blues Festivals in UK with Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges
2002/03 Played in Dubai.
2003 Played at Blues Principal & Simply Blues Festivals in Spain and Portugal with
Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges
2003/04 Played in Muscat, Oman.
2004 Toured Austria/Germany/Switzerland with Keith Thompson & Strange Brew.
Played several dates with The Phil Beer Big Band.
Wrote, arranged & recorded solo album After Sunset – Patsy Gamble
2005 Toured with Eugene ‘Hideaway’ Bridges including The Ecausinnes Spring Blues
Festival in Belgium and The Larmer Tree Festival and Blues on the Farm in the UK.
Recorded on The MODAID record with many artists including Ronnie Wood, Steve
Craddock, PP Arnold, Chris Farlowe & Mark Joseph.
Played at Colne International Blues Festival, UK and also recorded new album –
‘Independence’ with Keith Thompson & Strange Brew. Recorded Live album at The
Daneway Festival with my own band – The Patsy Gamble Band.
Performed at The Burg al Arab Hotel, Dubai for their New Years Celebrations.
2006 On tour in Austria, Germany & Switzerland with Keith Thompson & Strange Brew
promoting new album –‘Independence’.
