AFTER SUNSET

Patsy plays soprano, alto, tenor and baritone saxophones and after many years of recording on other people's albums she decided it was about time to record one of her own.

Patsy started writing music for the album when her mother died in February 2001 and finished, coincidently, when her sister Ros died in February 2004. Getting involved with music has been a way of dealing with the two recent deaths.

Patsy's debut album of original material is called 'After Sunset' on which she plays everything herself. This mainly instrumental album contains an interesting mix of jazz, funk, soul and classical influences and is on sale now. Please check out the AFTER SUNSET page or the BUY NOW page to buy your copy securely online for only £10.00 (+p&p).

LIVE CD

Patsy and her band now have a live CD. It was recorded at The Daneway Music Festival on 11th June 2005 and has six tracks on it which are a mixture of original and cover material.

"It's great to have a live CD because it gives people an idea of how our material works in a live situation." said Patsy. "The previous CD was all done

in the studio and although it sounds great, people that are booking you for gigs want to hear how the band are going to sound live."

You can buy your copy of the CD securely online here for only £6.00 (+p&p) by visiting the BUY NOW page.

Cheltenham Jazz Festival 2011

International Guitar Festival, Rijeka, Croatia

In October 2010, Patsy travelled with The Keith Thompson Band to Rijeka in Croatia to play at Hal's All Star International Guitar Festival. Opening the festival was classical guitarist Balen Lopez de Munain from Spain who played some beautiful pieces unaccompanied. This was followed by Eddie Martin's One Man Blues Band from Bristol in the UK featuring Eddie on vocals, harmonica, guitar and various assorted drums and percussion. Next up was promoter Hal, himself an accomplished guitarist playing his own blend of Croatian music. Then to finish the evening The Keith Thompson Band featuring RoyAdams on drums, Neil Simpson on bass, Patsy Gamble on tenor saxophone and backing vocals, and Keith Thompson on guitar and vocals. The band went down a storm with Keith's soaring blend of blues rock guitar and self-penned songs. The audience were on their feet by the end, cheering and shouting for more!

The Croatian people were so friendly and looked after us so well! I hope we go back again next year!
