GLOS BLUES FESTIVAL Keith Thompson & Strange Brew featuring Patsy Gamble and the rhythm section from the Climax Blues Band - Roy Adams on drums and Neil Simpson on bass, played to an enthusiastic crowd at Cafe Rene on Monday 28th July 2008 as part of The Gloucester Blues Festival. ________________________________________ JAZZ BARBEQUE IN AID OF CHARITY On Saturday 7th June 2008, The Patsy Gamble Band played at a Jazz Barbeque in Aid of Charity. The venue was Rosies Wood a beautiful wood situated behind The George Inn, Cambridge, Glos. There was a Pig Roast, a bar and lots of live jazz from Patsy and her band and support band - The Blighters. The weather was fantastic and we were all dancing way into the night....!
___________________________________ CHELTENHAM JAZZ FESTIVAL The Patsy Gamble Band performed at The Cheltenham Jazz Festival on Sunday 4th May at COPA, Regent Street, Cheltenham. The weather was against them as they set up outside under a canopy, but they were very well received by a very appreciative audience. Thanks to all of you who came to support us! THE VENUE JAZZ CLUB There's a great jazz club opened up in Cheltenham at well known music venue The Wheatsheaf, Old Bath Road.The club is open on the first and third Tuesday of the month hosting a wide variety of jazz bands. Well known local piano maestro - Pete Gill is running the club and creating a fantastic atmosphere with candlelit tables where you can eat and drink listening to the music without having your ears blasted! The Patsy Gamble Band performed there on Tuesday 18th March and had a fantastic reception! Thanks to all those who attended the gig and hope to see you all again soon!

Dolly James is fantastic session soul singer who has worked with many chart topping acts such as Belinda Carlisle, Bronski Beat, Van Morrison, Mike Oldfield, Michael Bolton, Simply Red, The James Taylor Quartet and Drizabone. The show will feature Dame Edna Everage, Chris De Burgh, Jamelia, Jo Brand, The Manfreds, Shakin Stevens and a host of other surprise guests!. As well as Eddie and Patsy, and Eddie's regular rhythm section of Marion Dolton on bass and Tim Price on drums, the band also featured Paddy Milner on keys. _______________________________________ CAMPAIGN TO SAVE STROUD HOSPITALS. To raise awareness of the possible closure of several hospitals in the Stroud area, especially Stroud Maternity Hospital, there was a PARTY IN THE PARK on Saturday 19th August 2006 held in Stratford Park, Stroud. Several bands played including THE PATSY GAMBLE BAND on the bandstand during the afternoon.

What a great birthday present! Patsy was lucky enough to be invited to play alongside the fabulous saxophonist Snake Davis & singer/ songwriter Jim Diamond at a gig at Vonnies Blues Club in Charlton Kings near Cheltenham on her birthday last Wednesday 13th Sept. Snake Davis has played with many well-known artists including M-People and Lisa Stansfield. Jim Diamond has written and performed many songs, his most well-known being 'I Won't Let You Down' and 'I Should Have Known Better'.

POLISH TOUR Patsy has just returned from a 2-week tour (10th - 25th Nov 2007) in Poland with Keith Thompson on guitar and a Polish rhythm section of Tomek Dominik on drums and Łukasz Gorczyca on bass, playing in cities and towns across the country. The band was very well received and hope to return in February 2008 for some more gigs.

TOUR POLAND
Patsy & Keith have just returned from a successful tour or Poland. The tour was from the 11th - 22nd January 2007 and the band featured Keith Thompson on guitar and vocals, Patsy on tenor saxophone and vocals, and a polish rhythm section of Lucasz Gorczyca on bass and Filip Wozniak on drums. They played gigs all over Poland including dates in Warsaw and Krakov and the band was very well received - Keith even sold out of CD's!

NEW ALBUM & TOUR
Patsy has just finished recording a new album with Keith Thompson & Strange Brew. This is the first album with the new band line up which includes Patsy on saxophones, John Broomhall on keys and the rhythm section from the Climax Blues Band of Neil Simpson on bass and Roy Adams on drums. Patsy has just returned from a successful tour of Austria, Germany and Switzerland in February 2006 with the new band.

SLOVENIA Patsy played with Keith Thompson & Strange Brew at The Postojna International Blues Festival in Slovenia on Saturday 27th May 2006. They were supporting a band some of you older fans may remember! - Ten Years After who were great! Keith and the band went down very well and sold a lot of CD's!
